He had already gone through another popular training program in Tulsa with little change. He did not hardly listen at all, had bit my husband once and drew blood, growled at us often, and barked and lunged at people on leash. He came home able to easily correct when on the leash - no aggression towards me or my husband at all so far - responds to all commands, even commands from guests in our home. From the very beginning, working with Scott has been amazing. I live over 3 hours away and I can honestly say I would drive double that, with no hesitation. Scott was extremely patient with me when selecting a dog. He didn't rush me or drive me in any particular direction. Once selected, he kept me up to date on the import process and let me know as soon as he had my future best friend. During his training, Scott was open and honest about where he was at in the process of training. Fast forward a little, I'm excited to go through school with my partner and learn from Scott. That's when life gave me a gut check and I got hurt on the job. I told Scott that I got hurt and I will need surgery to fix it. I was terrified Scott would be upset that he had to hold onto my partner for an extended period. Instead, the opposite happened. He told me to get myself healed and he will just continue training in the mean time. Scott is an amazing Trainer and an even more amazing human, if that's possible. As soon as I'm done with school, I'll be adding my part 2. As of now, Canine Unlimited is an 11 out of 10 and not a soul can tell me otherwise. PART 2/2 POST HANDLER SCHOOL! I went from knowing a little about dogs and NOTHING about working dogs, to trouble shooting and fixing issues (mostly) myself! Scott and Andrew did an amazing job! I learned SO much in a short period of time. Since school ended I’ve had one serious issue, I let Scott know, he gave guidance, and now we’re back on the right track. The wealth of knowledge available is so helpful and the ongoing support means the world to me. Honestly, handler school was difficult. Not in a physical way, but it was mentally exhausting. So many things to pay attention to. They made it look almost effortless. I will return for followup training EVERY chance I get. I will definitely recommend Canine Unlimited of Tulsa to everyone with a pooch!
